Costa Rica Coop de Tarrazú, Los Santos Region
Bright • Naturally Sweet • Clean
Grown in the famous Los Santos region of Costa Rica, Coop de Tarrazú represents the work of more than 4,500 smallholder coffee farmers who have come together to produce exceptional coffee while supporting sustainable farming practices.
For over 10 years, the cooperative has held Rainforest Alliance certification and continues to focus on environmentally responsible methods, including protecting natural ecosystems and improving long-term farming practices.
This coffee is a great example of what Costa Rica does best — a clean, vibrant cup with a beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity.
Expect flavours of crisp green apple, juicy grenadine, and a naturally sweet finish. A lighter roast that shines as a pour-over, highlighting the clarity and character of the coffee without overpowering it.
V60 Pour Over Recipe
Coffee: 20g
Water: 320g
Ratio: 1:16
Water Temperature: 94°C
Grind: Medium-fine (slightly finer than table salt)
Brew Steps
0:00 — Bloom
Add 60g water and let the coffee bloom for 45 seconds.
0:45 — First Pour
Slowly pour up to 200g total, keeping the stream gentle and controlled.
1:30 — Final Pour
Continue pouring until you reach 320g total water.
Target Brew Time: 2:45–3:15
Enjoy the bright apple-like acidity early in the cup, with the sweeter grenadine notes becoming more noticeable as it cools.
Try with all brewing methods. ( Espresso might be lower on body due to it’s non-blended nature )
Only available in 2lb/907g format
